Carol Johnson

Ms. Carol Lee Johnson passed on to her next great adventure December 17, 2015 after surrendering to the pancreatic cancer she had been fighting since 2014. Born July 21, 1953 in Muskegon, she remained here to enjoy the changing seasons and the big lake. Retiring as an employee with the State of Michigan after more than 25 years, she enjoyed her career with the Department of Mental Health but finished her employed life unappreciated at the Department of Human Services. SURVIVORS Surviving are her sister Karen, brother Eric, adopted sister and friend Leslie Bargman, nephew Jeremie Lederman, niece Shelby and great nieces and nephews. Missing her will be her multitude of friends and Thursday night group, especially Kelly Harris & Jim Saxe. Carol was preceded in death by parents, Jim & Colleen Johnson as well as brother, Larry Johnson.
