Carol Van Allsburg

Mrs. Carol J. Van Allsburg, age 68, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 3, 1945 to Leslie & Rose (Nemeth) Marnie. Mrs. Van Allsburg had been a teacher at Spring Lake Public Schools in the 1960's. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Carol expressed her hope in Christ and Life Eternal. SURVIVORS Sons, Kurt (Amy) Van Allsburg of Holland, Chris (Monica) Van Allsburg of NC; grandchildren, Madison & Taylor, Brynne, Nylah & Skylar; sister, Karen Marnie of IL. SERVICE Friday, August 15, 2014, 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. John's Lutheran Church with Dieter Haupt officiating. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery.
