Carlla Jan Olson

Olson, Ms Carlla Jan Whitehall, Michigan Mrs Carlla Jan Olson, age 88, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 12, 1934 to Carl & Jennie (Jansen) Seebald and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1953. Mrs Olson had been employed as a Shipping Clerk for Howmet for over 30 years. Carlla was a member of Bible Standard Ministries - she served her brethren by recording their bible conventions, digitally editing them, and sending them to church members all over the world. Carlla loved people and knew no strangers. She kept in touch with countless friends and family members by sending hundreds of Birthday and Christmas cards each year. She loved music - she sang and played the piano throughout her life, and was an avid supporter of the arts in her community. She has touched many lives and will be truly missed. SURVIVORS Children, Rodney (Rhonda) Olson, of Whitehall, Debbie (Dominique) Desmettre, of France, Lisa (Gary) Fussner, of Ohio, and Jennie (Bill) Suder, of Clarksville; grandchildren, Kelly (Rick Greiner) Olson, Bekki (Greg) Nowak, Lee Sharpnack, Bob (Ashly) Sharpnack, Barrett Sharpnack, Connie (James) Duschl; great grandchildren, Daniel, Izzy, Allie, Barry, Andy, Aurora, and Hadley; brother David (Paula) Seebald; countless nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex husband Karl Olson (with whom she remained friends), her brothers Bill Seebald and Charles Seebald, and her sister Virginia Archer. SERVICE Monday, February 20, 2023, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with Brother Larry Williams of Bible Standard Ministries officiating. Interment in Oakhurst Cemetery.
