Carla R. Harp

HARP, MRS. CARLA R. Muskegon Mrs. Carla R. Harp, age 64, devoted, loving mother & grandmother, passed away peacefully Monday, October 15, 2001. She was born in Muskegon, MI on February 8, 1937 to Russell & Ruth Zako Swanson & married Larry Harp on August 15, 1959 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Harp had been employed as a Teacher at Muskegon Public Schools for 27 years until retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years & also a member of the Bell Choir. Mrs. Harp volunteered at Love, Inc. & Hackley Hospital & also served as an Usher at the Frauenthal Theater. SURVIVORS Son, Todd Harp of Grosse Ile, MI; daughter, Lori Leland Jackman of Muskegon; her loving granddaughter, Janna Marie Jackman; brother, Russell Swanson Jr. of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry in 1992. SERVICE Thursday, October 18, 2001, 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr. Joe Ashby officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
