Mr. Ronald Carl Lofgren, age 73, passed away peacefully and went Home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, June 21, 2007 at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility. He was born January 31, 1934 in Muskegon to the late Herbert and Elvira (Nystrom) Lofgren. Ron served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. His father owned and Ron worked for Lofgren Sheet Metal. He later branched out on his own to do restoration work which included major work on the Hackley and Hume Homes. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Bultema) Lofgren; children: Bryan & Lisa Lofgren, Rhonda Richards, and Laurie & Tod Fisher; step-daughters: Donna & Jack Chumley, Pamela Hanna, Laurie Deering, Kristy & Tom Burrous, and Holly & Brian Semelbauer; many grand and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy & Richard Polglase. MEMORIAL SERVICES with military honors will be Tuesday, June 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Family Bible Church, 951 W. Laketon Ave., with Pastor Jerry DePoy officiating. VISITATION will be one hour before the service (noon to 1). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Ronald Lofgren Memorial Fund, c/o Mary Lofgren.
