Candace J. Swanson

Mrs. Candace J. Swanson, age 59, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008. She was born in Muskegon Hts. on March 22, 1949 to Robert and Evelyn Lundwall. Candace was a former member of Muskegon Rec. Club Auxiliary. She was a homemaker. Candace was an avid pool player, a dedicated NASCAR fan and enjoyed feeding the birds & squirrels. Most of all Candy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her life partner of 17 years, Jeffrey Ross; her son, Jerry (Lisa) Andre, Jr.; her daughter, Amber (Jon) Bergquist; son, Richard Swanson and 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Desirae Bergquist; 1 sister, Pat (Don) Mangione; also, 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn (Ayers) Lundwall. An informal gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Rd. at 1pm on Friday, June 20, 2008. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
