Calvin J Woodring

Mr. Calvin John Woodring, age 69, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on November 1, 1947 to Milton & Clara (Comstock) Woodring and graduated from Reeths Puffer High School. Mr. Woodring served his country in the US Navy and had been employed as a Rigger for Erickson's for over 15 years. Calvin was a long time member of Central Assembly of God Church and currently a member of Anchor of Hope Church. He was a member of the VFW White Lake Post #3256, loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and riding his quad. SURVIVORS Sons, Retired Senior Master Sergeant John (Jennifer) Woodring of IN; Jason Woodring of Muskegon; granddaughters, Angela (Bryan) Saunders, Alyssa Woodring, Morgan Woodring, Sophie Woodring; great grandson, Atlas Saunders; mother of his children, Catherine Woodring; siblings, Diane (Butch) Chester, Joe Woodring, Brenda (Dick) Martin, Scott Woodring; aunt, Blanche Herding; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Saturday, March 25, 2017, 3:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Dr. Gordon Aikin officiating.
