Callie Gray

Mrs. Callie Gray, age 96, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008.She was born in Kennet, Missouri on November 1, 1911 to William & Martha (Whitehead) Roberts and married Truman W. Gray on January 31, 1932. Mrs. Gray had been employed as a cook at St. Joseph School, Catholic Central High School and Hackley Hospital until her retirement. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and presently a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Altar Society and a Past President of Legion of Mary. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Donald (Elaine) Gray of Holland, Bill (Sandy) Gray of Texas; 3 daughters, Jo Ann (Edward) Simon of Muskegon, Barbara Martin of Texas, Sharon (Kirk) Chauvez of Muskegon; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Gray of Muskegon; 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman, in 1991 and a son Larry in 2007. SERVICE A family service was held today, Thursday, March 27, 2008, 2:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Deacon Ed Simon III officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. A public Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. MEMORIAL: Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
