Mr. Burrell J. Fenner passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 at Harbor Terrace Senior Living in Muskegon.

He was born at home in Muskegon, Michigan, on August 18, 1931, to Burrell and Ella (Meurer) Fenner. He graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1949. He married Enid (Poole) Fenner on September 13, 1952.

Burrell attended classes at Muskegon Community College and Georgia State University, working for Continental Motors for 18 years in various accounting activities in Muskegon, Michigan; Atlanta, Georgia; and Chicago, Illinois. He was a controller at Lakey Foundry in Muskegon for two years and was Office Manager/Controller for Newkirk Electric Associate in Muskegon for 22 years, retiring in 1996.

He was a past member of McGraft Congregational Church, a past member of the Cost Accounting Association of Michigan, and also a past member of the Elks and Eagles along with the Polish Union and Lithuanian Club. He was a current 45+ year member of the Viking (Linne Lodge #57) in Muskegon.

Burrell enjoyed canoeing and camping with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his family, spending many summer holidays at the family picnics at North Muskegon State Park. He and Enid also enjoyed spending much time in Saginaw with Steve and Liz and attending Erik & Ian's school events, including their high school orchestra concerts and festivals and also loved traveling many times to see Tom, Nancy & Steven.

He is survived by his sons, Steven (Elizabeth) Fenner, Saginaw, Michigan; and Tom (Nancy), Green Valley, Arizona along with his three grandsons, Steven Fenner, Brooklyn, New York; Erik Fenner and Ian Fenner, Saginaw, Michigan. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Pat (Dennis) Kettring, Rose Buckner, and Marian Poole, along with several nieces and nephews.

Burrell is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years and his parents and five sisters, Evelyn Swanson, Edna Sherburn, Lorraine Fenner, Kate Simonsen, and Ella (Lollie) Shields.

Funeral service will be held at Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon, date to be determined, with burial of his cremated remains at Laketon Township Cemetery.
