Mr. Bruce Colburn Williams, age 79, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. He was born in Brighton, Michigan on July 3, 1937 to Andrew & Alice (Stottlemyre) Williams and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He married the former Betty Lou Sanford on July 27, 1955. Mr. Williams had been employed as a truck driver for USF Holland Trucking for 42 years until retiring. Bruce was a member of the Holton American Legion Post 397 and enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the Casino. SURVIVORS Wife of 61 years, Betty Lou; sons, Dennis (Cindy) Williams of Ravenna, Wayne (Kim) Williams of FL, Robert Hayward; daughter, Dora (Todd) Boeve of Norton Shores; grandchildren, Andrew Williams, Ethan Boeve, Miranda Williams, Arista Boeve, Kelly (Bobby) Watkins and Lori (Paul) Pagano, Brandon and Emery Hayward; great grandchildren, Kiley Williams, Justin Watkins, Lorin Watkins, Xavier Pagano, Kalia Pagano; brothers, David Williams, Harry (Patricia) Williams, Lindsey Williams; sisters, Diane Ruiter, Barbara Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Westley Williams. SERVICE Wednesday, January 11, 2017, 1:00 pm at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with visitation one hour prior to the service and Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment in Twin Lake Cemetery. MEMORIAL: National Parkinson Foundation or Muskegon Vietnam Veterans of America.
