Bruce Charles Peterson

On April 12, 2020, Bruce Charles Peterson unexpectedly went home to the Lord. Bruce was born January 21, 1950, in Muskegon, MI to John and Alberta Peterson. Bruce graduated from Mona Shores in 1968. Afterword, he attended Muskegon Community College to earn an associate's degree. In 1970, Bruce enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1973. Bruce worked for Midland Grocery for 25 years. Bruce worked at Meijer three years before retiring. He married Mary Jane Radke on June 26, 1987, at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church. They were together for 40 years. Bruce enjoyed fishing, cooking, golfing, gardening, boating, and home improvement projects with his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jane Peterson; his daughters, Krista (Robert) Downs and Kendra Peterson; his two grandsons, Theodore and Phinehas Downs; His sister, Carol (Peter) Friar along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he loved very much. Memorial service: Due to COVID-19 a full memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
