Bruce A. Driesenga

Mr. Bruce Allyn Driesenga, age 71, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was born in Holland, Michigan on October 1, 1945 to Henry & Gladys (Grotler) Driesenga and married the former Kathy "Katie" Spangler on September 4, 1987. Mr. Driesenga had been employed as a machinist for Grand Haven Steel for 12 years until retiring in 2010 and Bar Manager at Holland Elks Club for 20 Years. Bruce was a member of the Grand Haven Eagles and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golf and loved doing crossword puzzles. SURVIVORS Wife of 29 years, "Katie"; daughter, Jodi Ledesema of Holland; stepchildren, Jeramy (Ronette) Samdal & Jaimee Samdal, both of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Angelo, Berkley, Julian, Bennett, Jonah, Joshua, Michael, Sarah & Kimber; brother, Randy (Peggy) Driesenga of Holland; mother-in-law, Laura Spangler; brothers & sisters-in-law, Johnny (Julie) Spangler, Linda (Paul) Miller, Garry (Carla) Spangler, Lauren (Tom) Roberts, Eddie (Jo) Spangler; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, William & Meryl.
