Bruce Day

Mr. Bruce Wayne Day, age 78, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 2, 1937 to Wayne & Aleatha (Bearse) Day and served his country in the US Army serving in Germany. He married the former Paula Wood on May 12, 1979. Mr. Day had been employed at Grand Haven Brass and then Eagle Ottawa for years before retiring when it closed. Bruce was a member of Lighthouse Christian Ministries and loved the water and researching things on the internet. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 36 years, Paula; son, Allen (Renee) Chandler of Muskegon; daughter, Michele (Bret) Hinz of South Haven; grandchildren, Kyle Salisbury, Regan Hinz & Julian Chandler; great grandson, Len Chandler; brother, Brian Hand of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marlene & Gayle. SERVICE Private family services will be held at a later date.
