Botten, Gary L.

Gary L. Botten, born on December 28, 1946, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. He is survived by four children, Raymond (Pam Pesch) Botten, of Holton, Karrie (Mark) Hayes, of Newaygo, Brenda Botten, of Ohio, and DeAnna Botten, of Muskegon; eight grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Jim) Downing, of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother, Dennis (Susie) Botten, of Muskegon; his aunts, Alberta McCellan, and Virginia Cripe, along with his girlfriend, Suzanne Jager. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Elizabeth (Ritz) Botten, of Muskegon. Gary worked for Viking Foods of Muskegon, and 11 years at Perigo of Montague. He was a member of the White Lake Eagles Aerie #3214. Gary was an excellent contractor; he designed and built many houses. He loved to hunt and fish. Gary loved to Wheel & Deal with the trading of equipment, guns or whatever he could buy and sell. He also loved to play cards with his many friends. Funeral services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
