Mrs. June A. Botsford, age 92, passed away peacefully after living a good life, on Tuesday afternoon, October 3, 2006, in Grand Rapids. She was born June 13, 1914 in Ensley Center, MI to John & Florence (Hoag) Hanson and then moved to the Muskegon area in 1948 where she resided until moving to Grand Rapids in 2000. June was an active member of Crestwood United Methodist Church. On December 13, 1947 she married Lawrence Botsford and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1988. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lylah & Betty Hanson and by her daughter, Jeanann Dunlap on July 28, 2002. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Laurie Botsford of Middletown, OH, Kristine (James) Mullendore of Rockford, MI, Jon (Joan) Botsford of Caledonia, MI and Charles (Fran) Botsford of Akron, OH; 5 grandchildren, Steven and Sarah Dunlap and Jackson, Tess and Matthew Botsford. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2 PM Saturday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231-726-5210 with the Rev. Harry Johnson officiating. Visitation with June's family will be 6-8PM Friday and from 1-2PM Saturday, prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
