Bob Allen Sleeper

Robert "Bob" Sleeper, age 66, passed away at home surrounded by family on March 25, 2023.

Bob was born in West Branch, MI on Sept. 5, 1955 near the family cabin at Houghton Lake. He grew up in Bay City, MI. Attended Bay City Central High School. He worked at GM in Saginaw, MI and moved to Grand Haven in 1984 to work in the Coopersville GM plant. Retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and later worked at CWC Textron.

Bob had a passion for fishing, especially salmon and walleye. He spent many hours on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. He enjoyed sharing his love of fishing with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Jeremy (Kristy) Sleeper, daughter Amber Sleeper (Aaron Hart). Grandchildren; Andrew, Justin, Erebus, Raven, Cinder and Nephthys. Sister Joyce Van Sumeran, brother Jim Sleeper(Leila Salo), sister-in-law Pam Sleeper), cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Dave Sleeper and brother-in-law Michael VanSumeran.

There will be a private gathering for the immediate family at a later date.
