Blaine "Mike" Switzer Sr.

Blaine Michael "Mike" Switzer Sr., age 60, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 20, 1958 to Nelson & Ellen (Blaine) Switzer and married the former Doris Montgomery on August 16, 2006. Mike had been employed as an auto body repairman and certified mechanic for Reliable Auto Body, Bowman's Auto and Family Auto. Mike enjoyed working on cars and helping others with their cars. You could find him at car shows with some of his cars that he rebuilt. When he was not in the garage, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to sporting events. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Doris; sons, Blaine (Jill) Switzer Jr. of Muskegon, Adam Switzer of Muskegon; step daughter, Stephanie Caron of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Aleigha Kolberg, Cayden Switzer, Justin Switzer & Dominic Switzer; great grandchild, Audrey Carie; sisters, Charlene (Jerry) Tejchma of Muskegon, Lichel (Joe) Burt of Muskegon; brothers, Jim (Louann) Switzer of Muskegon, Mark (Kristyn) Switzer of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. SERVICE Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Shangraw officiating.
