Bitson, Raymond B.

Mr. Raymond B. Bitson, age 76, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on December 19, 1930 to Edward and Violet (Wright) Bitson, and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Bitson was employed at Don Nap Auto Service and retired from Jesse's Used Cars where he had been employed as a mechanic for 30 years. He was a founding member of Twisting Trails Snowmobile Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing and had been a hunting guide for Clear Creek Outfitters of Clearmont, Wyoming. On June 18, 1949, he married the former Adella Moseler and she survives him along with 5 children, Ronald (Missy) Bitson, Dianne (Bob) Bordeaux, Marsha (Leonard) Griffith of Benton Harbor, Jerry (Kim) Bitson, Renee Hill; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Kay (Glen) Phillips of Hart, MI and his beloved dog, Peppy. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Louis and Don Bitson; sister, Arlene Michels, and a special sister-in law, Joyce Hecksel. SERVICES will be 1PM Friday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 VISITATION will be 5-8PM Thursday and 11AM-1PM Friday. INTERMENT will be in Egelston Township Cemetery.
