Billy Joe Rankin

Rankin, Mr. Billy Joe Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Billy Joe Rankin, age 74, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, VA on October 28, 1948 to John & Dolly (Dixon) Rankin and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Elgie Holmes on June 27, 1992. Mr. Rankin had been employed as a Metallurgist for Hoskins Manufacturing for over 20 years and for Cannon USA for 15 years. Bill enjoyed music, NASCAR, ancestry research, yard work, and spending time with his family and his dogs. SURVIVORS Children, Rebecca Peebles, Debra Reinhardt, Ray (Tina) Weisler, Marietta (Mike) Sauer; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; siblings, Rita (Ray) Wyss, Linda (Pete) DeChant; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elgie Rankin, son, Charles Weisler, and great grandson Mason Soper. SERVICE A graveside service will be held in the spring.
