Beverly Spencer

Beverly Jean Spencer, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and best friend went to be with her Lord March 7th, 2007. She leaves behind two sons: John and Fred Spencer; one daughter, Jamie Spencer; and ten wonderful grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters: Dawn (Lou) Baker and Darlene (Stan) Lenz; one brother, Jimmy Wood; and special aunt and uncle, Wanda and Ed Harvey. Bev also leaves her close friend of many years, Greg Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corabelle Burns and James Wood, and grandparents, Leslie and Susie Robbins and James and Bea Burns. Bev was very musically talented. She enjoyed the arts of song and dance. She sang like an angel and danced so gracefully she could still a beating heart. Anyone who knew her wouldn't let her by without singing the song she wrote, "My Friend," and no matter how many times she sang that song, she could bring a tear to your eye. She loved her family sing-alongs and fellowship with her family and friends. Beverly was a loyal mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and was always generous with whatever she had. She will be missed here on Earth until we are all with her and our other Christian family again. A MEMEORIAL SERVICE for Bev will be held at Kainay Community Church, 3387 Heights Ravenna Rd., Muskegon, on Wednesday, March 21, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Chip Hackney officiating.
