Beverly J. Jessen

JESSEN, BEV J. Fruitport Bev J. Jessen, age 63, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005. She was born in Lincoln, NE on May 28, 1941 to Dale & Aurora K. Verbski Gray & married Carl Jessen on June 12, 1965 in Lincoln, NE. Bev Jessen received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Nebraska & her Masters Degree from Western Seminary in Holland. She taught Home Economics at Rock County High School. She was a member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church, P.E.O. & very involved in Stephen Ministry. Bev enjoyed sailing, reading & her winter home in Florida. But foremost she cherished the time with her family. SURVIVORS Husband, Carl; 1 son, Scott Jessen of Lansing, MI; 2 daughters, Krista Michael Schmuker of Grand Rapids & Kendra David Decker of Grand Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Jonah, Gabrielle, Anthony & Jessica; mother, Aurora K. Gray of Lincoln, NE; 1 brother, Lynn Cindy Gray of Omaha, NE; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Gray. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, April 25, 2005, 11:00 AM at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with Pastor Dick Morrison officiating.
