Foster Brown, age 56, died Sunday, August 24, 2003 in Ann Arbor, MI at the University of Michigan Medical Center. She was born on January 27, 1947 in Muskegon, MI to Leo & Maxine Foster. Mrs. Brown was employed as a beautician at Cost Cutters in Grand Haven & had attended Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, golf, bowling, bicycling, reading & football games. Survivors: Her Mother, Maxine Nuvill Foster; son, Dennis Jana VanderJagt; daughter, Lisa VanderJagt; 3 grandchildren, Felicia Flores, Jordan Kenny Mills & Tyler VanderJagt; sister, Patty Fred Shear, all of Grand Haven, MI; 4 brothers, Steve Foster of Greenville, MI, Don Foster of Phoenix, AZ, Dale Rita Foster of Spring Lake, MI & Jerry Foster of Grand Haven, MI; aunt, Betty Anderson of Spring Lake, MI; special niece, Veronica Shinn of Grand Haven, MI; also several other nieces & nephews; best friend, Beverly Warner. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, James Brown & the late Wesley Galant, Jr.; her father; grand- parents; 1 aunt; several uncles as well as her close friend & coworker, Shirley DeKracker. Service: Thursday, August 28, 2003, 11:00 AM at Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Gary Reiss officiating. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery.
