Whelan, Ms Betty Ann Muskegon, Michigan Ms Betty Ann Whelan, age 83, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on September 4, 1938 to Charles & Wilma (Hathaway) Maddix. Ms Whelan had been employed as a machinist for Sealed Power and retired from Herman Miller, Betty enjoyed yard sales, camping, flowers and speinding time with her family. SURVIVORS Children, Janet Hooker, Debra Lawson & Samantha "Sam" Gajewski; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Ronald) Jensen; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, children, Charels Russell & Deanna Neuman; 2 great grandchildren, Rosie Hooker & Zackery Russell; 3 brothers, Bill Maddix, Bob Maddix & Walter Maddix. SERVICE Friday, June 3, 2022, 2:30 PM at Egelston Township Cemetery with Peggy Foster officiating. Interment in Egelston Township Cemetery.
