Betty C. (Pelkey) Venne VENNE (PELKEY) MRS. BETTY C. CUSTER, MI Mrs. Betty C. (Pelkey) Venne, age 87, passed away early Monday morning, January 16, 2006, at a care facility in Custer, MI. Betty was born on February 20, 1918 in Dubuque, Iowa to Carl and Irene (Brueck) Johnson. She spent most of her life in this area, having been a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles Auxiliary. Betty married Stan Pelkey and he passed away in 1959. She later married Clarence (Jack) Venne and he preceded her in death in 2001. Betty is SURVIVED by her children, Jack (Betty) Pelkey of Venice, FL, Sandra (Howard) Bauman of Sturgis, MI, and Rick (Lois) Pelkey of Port Charlotte, FL; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and her brother, Lawrence Johnson of Muskegon, MI. She was also preceded in death by her son, David and granddaughter, Jennifer. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
