Betty Stubblefield

Mrs. Betty I. Stubblefield, age 90, died Monday, March 16, 2009. She was born in Lakeville, Indiana on June 14, 1918 to Hollis & Mabel (Moon) Mattix and married Jay Stubblefield in January 1942. Mrs. Stubblefield had been employed as a Bank Teller at Gary National Bank (later became Gainer National Bank) until retiring. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughters, Jill (Richard) Christman of MO, Judy (Carl) Howell of Muskegon; grandson, Jay Christman; sister, Joan Stark of FL; numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay in 1967; brother, Stewart (Lillian) Mattix; sister Alma Belle (Bill) Messick. SERVICE A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Indiana.
