Betty Sifuentes

Mrs. Betty Jane Sifuentes, age 77, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She was born on September 19, 1929 in Muskegon, MI to Adam and Helen (Maske) Poliski. Betty married Hector "Al" Sifuentes on October 18, 1958. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and had been very active in the past with it's religious education, home and school, visiting shut-ins, and Eucharist committees. Betty had worked for over 42 years in the payroll dept. before retiring from Sealed Power Corp. (SPX). Survivors are her husband, Al; her children, Bonnie Jo (Michael) Blohm, Allen (Donna) Sifuentes, and Roxanne Sifuentes, all of Muskegon; grandchildren, Ian and Hannah Sifuentes; brother, Joseph (Donna) Poliski of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Caroline Judis of Muskegon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Adam Poliski; and sisters, Elaine Poliski and Helen Sokolowski. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11 a.m. Monday morning at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Entombment will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery Masoleum. Visitation hours will be on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Visitation Monday morning one hour prior to service at the church.
