Betty Jane Macpherson

MACPHERSON, MRS. BETTY JANE Muskegon Mrs. Betty Jane MacPherson, age 82, died Friday, July 15, 2005. She was born on July 28, 1922 to Jared & Gladys Cross Carlson and married Marion "Mac" MacPherson on October 18, 1947. Mrs. MacPherson had been a Piano Teacher for many years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Womens Club of Muskegon. She volunteered as a teacher of music & reading at the Muskegon Correctional Facility. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Dale MacPherson of Muskegon, David JoAnne MacPherson of Muskegon & Wayne MacPherson of Wyoming, MI; 2 daughters, Leah Hank Hawley of Grand Haven & Judy Higgins of Norton Shores; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Alvord of AZ & many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. "Mac" MacPherson on April 1, 2005; a son, Paul MacPherson; and her brother, John Carlson. SERVICE Wednesday, July 20, 2005, 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Fred Halde officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
