Betty A. Love

Mrs. Betty A. Love, age 76, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 in Muskegon. Betty was born October 18, 1931 to Frank A. & Ida M. (Ericksen) Nelson and had been a life resident of Muskegon. On November 12, 1955 she married Walter M. Love and he preceded her in death July 23, 1989. She worked at Teledyne Continental Motors and retired in 1986. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, life member of V.F.W. Post 3734 Ladies Auxiliary, and member of Retirees Local 1279. She loved to travel, read, play cards and most of all loved her family. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Walter F. (Paula) Love of Muskegon, Terry B. (Sharon) Love of Hesperia, and daughter, Nancy A. (Louis Vasicek) King of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Heather (Kerwin) Love-Warneke, Amber (Roger) Minzey, Ryan, Katie, Lindsey, Marcie Love, and Joshua and Brittney King; 5 great grandchildren, Curtis, Jeremiah, Destiny, Derrick Minzey and Freyja Warneke; 3 sisters, Carol (Rodney) Priest of Muskegon, Janet (Donald) Kolbe of Jackson, MI and Elaine Feil of Atlanta, GA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded by a brother and sister-in-law, Frank "Vern" and Irene Nelson. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Julie Winklepleck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-9 PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 Burial will take place in Restlawn Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
