Betty J. Kleyn

Mrs. Betty Jane Kleyn, age 86, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 1, 1932 to William & Louise (Paquette) Reynolds and married Dirk "Dick" Kleyn on March 7, 1951. Mrs. Kleyn was a homemaker and later employed at the YMCA until retirement. Betty was a member of the Grand Haven Gospel Chapel and Muskegon Gospel Chapel. She enjoyed playing games, coin collecting, bird watching, camping, wintering in Florida and flower gardening. SURVIVORS Children, Thomas (Teresa) Kleyn, Bruce (Bevelyn) Kleyn, Barbara (Bruce) Hoffman; grandchildren, Patrick (Vicki) Kleyn, Breannda Kleyn, Benjamin (Alicia) Kleyn, Elisabeth Kleyn, Bethany (Eric) Mattson, Ryan (Melissa) Hoffman, Sarah (Josh) Saagman, Brittany Kleyn; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Barb Hermanson) Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Virginia Reynolds & Carol (Robert) Jackson; brother-in-law, Robert (Karen) Kleyn; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dirk Kleyn; brothers, William (Lydia) Reynolds, Robert Reynolds and sister-in-law, Phyllis Reynolds; many loving brothers & sisters-in-law in the Kleyn family. SERVICE Tuesday, February 5, 2019, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Rick Larman officiating. Internment in Norton Cemetery.
