Betty M. Galer

Betty M. Galer, age 82 went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2008. Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carlton; her siblings, Harold (Kay) VanderZouwen, Doris (John) VanderPloeg, Lavonne (Ike) Elenbaas, Nancy (Bill) Freeman, Audrey (Frank) Nienhuis, Don (Sheryl) VanderZouwen; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Laurie (Gary) Norris, and a special friend Donna Roberts. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley (Otis) Stratton. Funeral services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., in Muskegon, on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerald Poehl officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
