FORTON, MRS. BETTY E. Fruitland Township Mrs. Betty E. Forton, age 88, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on August 11, 1915 to Tom C. & Maude Michaels Baker. Mrs. Forton had been employed as a Core Maker at Lakey Foundry for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a life member of the Don Rea V.F.W. Post 8846 Auxiliary. SURVIVORS 1 daughter, Carol William Wright of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Tom Kim Melin of Holland, MI; 2 great grandchildren, Lori Walker & Joshua Melin both of Muskegon; 1 great great granddaughter, Keyara Walker of Muskegon; special niece, Sandra Dick Olson of Muskegon as well as many other nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, William Baker; 3 sisters, May Michaels, Lottie Lade & Shirley Garner. SERVICE Thursday, April 29, 2004, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel with Rev. Terry Garner officiating. Interment at Ravenna Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Make a Wish Foundation. Clock - Muskegon
