Mrs. Betty Jane Cox, age 76, died Friday, October 24, 2008. She was born in Flint, MI on December 18, 1931 to Alvin & Eula (Letsinger) Mattice & married George James Cox on June 12, 1951. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Michael (Janet) Cox of Okemos, MI, Lawrence (Barbara) Cox of Twin Lake; 2 daughters, Helen Cox of Grand Rapids, Catherine Cox of Spring Lake; 4 grandchildren, Barb Kraus, John Cox, Kevin Cox & Nathan VanDerNoot; 4 great grandchildren, Julian, Leah, Alex & Joseph; 2 sisters, Nina Mae Shelley of Midland & Sally Jones of IN; 2 brothers, Charlie (Renate) Mattice of Deleware & Alvin Mattice of Flint & her dog, Summer. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2002 & son, Gregory Cox in 1952. MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Fr. Wayne Wheeler officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home- Muskegon.
