Betty Cooley

Mrs. Betty C. Cooley, age 84, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on January 12, 1928 to Errol & Ethel (Grandlund) Stone and married Chauncey Cooley Jr. on May 29, 1946. Mrs. Cooley had been employed at Mercy Hospital for years until retiring. She was a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ. SURVIVORS Sons, Roger Cooley of Harbor Springs, Chuck (Deborah) Cooley of Grand Rapids; daughter, Wendy (Glenn) Vorres of Fremont; grandchildren, Kelly (David) Somers, Korri (Brian) Nelson, Jimmy Olding, Tony (Val) Cooley, Nick (Erin) Smith, Toshia Reagen; great grandchildren, Shelbi, Cheyanne, Dakota, Jaden, Joey; sister, Emma Jean of CA; brothers, Chet Stone, Richard Stone & Dale Stone, all of CA; special friends, Elaine Baxter & Laurie Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. SERVICE Friday, April 20, 2012, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Rev. Donald Wood officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery.
