Betty Jane Carnes, 80, of Muskegon, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Betty was born December 9, 1944, the daughter of Henry and Mabel Skow. On April 23, 1965 she married Bill Carnes and together they were blessed with 51 years of marriage until his death in 2016. Betty worked until she was 79 years old, retiring just last year. She spent 38 years at O'Malley's Pest Control and loved her job. She also enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, and being with her family and friends. She was a thoughtful, loving, determined, and independent woman who will be deeply missed.

SURVIVORS

Betty is survived by: her son-in-law, Jason Hozer; granddaughter, Hailey Hozer; brother, Rodney (Rosemary) Skow; niece, Nancy; and nephew, Michael.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Bill; and daughter, Donna Hozer.

SERVICES

Friday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home 1469 Peck Street Muskegon. Visitation will take place Thursday February 6 from 4-7PM and again 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
