Betty Capps

Mrs. Betty Nellie Capps, age 83, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on April 18, 1932 to Ralph & Frances (Lewis) Artlip and married John Capps in 1968. Mrs. Capps had been employed as a interpreter for the deaf at Muskegon Public Schools for 24 years until retiring in 1997. Betty loved life and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading and going to the casinos. SURVIVORS Son, Ervin (Sue) Herrala; daughters, Victoria Harris, Roschelle Good, Sharon (Paul) Freudenstein; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Terry Hoffmeyer; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1984; daughter, Rhonda; sisters, Maxine Herrala & Pearl Palo; brother, Ervin Artlip; son-in-law, Paul Harris.
