Betty L. Bewalda-Alman

Mrs. Betty Louise Bewalda-Alman, age 80, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 3, 1937 to Frank & Elizabeth (Teuling) Bryant and married her best friend, Lee Alman on August 7, 2016. Mrs. Bewalda held various jobs throughout her life. Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and past member of the Grand Haven American Legion. Betty loved fishing and helping on her husband's trap line. She also loved traveling to Reno for Keno tournaments where she placed 1st on several occasions. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband, Lee Alman; sons, Jack Hitsman of Big Rapids, Allan Bewalda Jr. of Big Rapids; daughters, Kim (Ed) Umlor of Fruitport, Kelly Bewalda of Big Rapids; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Bewalda, in 2003; son, Kirt Vink; daughter, Cathy Hitsman; parents; sister, Anna Mae; brother, Marv. SERVICE Per her wishes, no services will be held. MEMORIAL: St. Jude Children's Hospital or Harbor Hospice Foundation.
