Betty Baker

Mrs. Betty Mae Baker, age 72, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 12, 2007 after surgery, surrounded by her loving family members. She was born on April 26, 1935 in Puyallup, WA to Phillip and Illa Mae (Handy) Annis. On October 17, 1970 she married Kenneth Baker who survives her. Betty Mae is also survived by her children, Tom (Mary) Hallowell, Kathleen (Susan) Hallowell, Dawn (Greg) Hamilton, Susan (Doug) Eldridge, Lisa (Gary) Tysen, and Kelly (Michelle) Baker; her 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jim (Barb), Michael (Beverly), and Jack (Marilyn) Annis, her sisters-in-law, Maxine Annis, Ruth Annis, and Dorothy Gibbs; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Bill, John, and Tom Annis. A Memorial Gathering, celebrating Betty Mae's life will begin at 2 PM Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the American Legion Post #411 in Hesperia, MI.
