Bettijane Melrose, age 100, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born in Spring Lake, MI on May 7, 1923 to Roy & catherine (Vink) Wilkinson and married Donald Melrose on September 6, 1947. Bettijane was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and had been employed as an Executive Secretary for Sealed Power (SPX) until retiring. She enjoyed cross country skiing in her younger years and had traveled all over the world with her husband. Bettijane was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Muskegon.

Daughter, Cathy Melrose; sisters Marellen Lamke, Jean Veiga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Dr. Bruce Melrose; daughter, Patricia Melrose; siblings, Roy, Helen, Carolyn
