Bette Jordan

Mrs. Bette J. Jordan, age 84, died Sunday, May 11, 2008. She was born in Vance Creek, Wisconsin on September 24, 1923 to Clarence & Rose (Sanford) Anderson and married Dorsey Jordan on June 20, 1942. Mrs. Jordan had been employed as a Bookkeeper at Braun's Auto Sales for 30 years until retiring. She was a member of Edgewood Lutheran Church and served on the Council, as Deacon, and was an active member of the Edgewood Lutheran Church Women. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughter Jackie Sue (Lee R.) Frye of Grand Haven; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) McCartney of St. Clair MI, Joseph (Kelli) Frye of West Olive, Jeff (Shelley) Frye, James (Aleesa) Frye; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Josephine Meek of Buchanan MI; several nieces & nephews; friends & her adopted Shore Haven family who took such loving care of her. Mrs Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey; brother, Sanford Anderson & sister, Bernadine Olson. SERVICE Thursday, May 15, 2008 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Pastor Earl P. Merz officiating. Interment at Robinson Township Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 At Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa.
