Beth L. Baumgart

Mrs. Beth Louella Baumgart, age 66, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 18, 1950 to Ivan & Jennie (Miner) Plews and married her soulmate, Ronald Baumgart, on April 4, 1994. Mrs. Baumgart had been employed at Meijer for 14 years, worked as a receptionist for Century 21 and later was a homemaker. Beth was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She loved to read as well as selling her books online. SURVIVORS Husband, Ronald "Ron" Baumgart; daughters, Stacey (Thomas) Chappell, Cary (Joseph) Goings; stepsons, Scott Baumgart, Kevin (Annemarie) Baumgart; grandchildren, Trenton (Alyssa) Goings, Matthew Gunn, Nicholas Baumgart, Jordan Goings, Sarina Goings, Brayden Chappell, Laraia Baumgart sisters, Susan (Greg) Tufts, Sandie (Carl) Retzlaff, Jan (Srikanth) Bonthu from Colorado; brother, Terry Plews; mother-in-law, Leona Baumgart; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. SERVICE Tuesday, April 4, 2017, 2:00 pm at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Susan G Komen For the Cure.
