Bertha Lorraine Wilson

Bertha Lorraine Wilson, 99, a 45-year resident of Spring Lake, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at the Lake Bennett Nursing Home in Ocoee, Florida. She was born September 21, 1908, in Manistique, Michigan. She has lived in North Fort Meyers, FL, for the past 25 years, and she enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends. Her husband, Raymond W. Wilson; her son, Kenneth R. Wilson; 2 grandsons; 1 great-grandson; a sister, Fern Johnson; and a brother, Donald Miller, preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Deloris "Honey" (Orlo) Huttenga of Hubbard Lake, MI and Shirley (Jim) McWhorter of Clermont, FL; a sister, Myrtle Koolovitz of Muskegon, MI; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grand-children; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home, 213 E. Savidge St., Spring Lake, on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Upon the completion of the memorial service, family and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch at First Presbyterian Church, 508 Franklin, in Grand Haven.
