Bertha R. Puff PUFF, MRS. BERTHA R. Fremont Mrs. Bertha R. Puff, age 84, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 18, 2006 at Transitional Health Services of Fremont. She was born on April 22, 1921 in Newaygo, MI. to Ora and Hattie (Smith) Grove. She had been employed by Gerber Products Company for 40 years and retired in 1986 as the Food Service Director of Marriott Host, Inc. at Gerber Products Company. She was a member of Fremont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She married Floyd Puff in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1963. Survivors include 2 children: Fern (OraDon) Balcom of Fremont, Randy Puff of Morristown, NJ.; 3 grandchildren: Gayle Durst, Don Balcom, Shelly (Tom) Kornexl; 5 great grandchildren: Randi (Stephen) Hanna, Curtis Storms, Jr., Shelby Storms, Gage Kornexl, Jentry Kornexl; 1 great great granddaughter: Stephanie Hanna; 1 brother: Fred Grove of Fremont; several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ora Grove on January 4, 2006. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Fremont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with Rev. David Dickinson officiating. Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday.
