Bertha Cain

Mrs. Bertha Nell Cain, age 80, passed away on her beloved husbands birthday, Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born in Camden, Tennessee on June 3, 1938 to Clarence E. & Linnie (Johnson) Holland and married Robert Cain on December 4, 1975. Mrs. Cain held various administrative supervisory positions at Shaw Walker for 31 years until retiring in 1990. Bertha was honored to be the first woman president of the Muskegon Area Traffic Club. She enjoyed reading, day trips and after retiring living in there dream home and forming a loving family community in the Michigan's UP for 10 years. She was a dedicated loving mother and considered a caring, fun and loving grandma and aunt. SURVIVORS Son, Russell (Sandra) Potter; grandson, Gabriel Potter; 2 stepchildren, Jerry & Karen and their families; Aunt Bert was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by, parents; love of her life, husband, Robert on December 22, 2008; twin daughters shortly after birth; 2 brothers, Everett & Fred Holland; sister, Myra Douglas. SERVICE Saturday, September 8, 2018, 11:00 am at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Scott Church officiating. VISITATION Friday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon.
