Bernice Weatherly

Bernice Weatherly (nee Newman), 92, died peacefully in her sleep on July 28th. Her husband of 64 years, Joe, was by her side. Bernice and Joe lived in Muskegon from 1959 until 1984. During that time, Bernice was a secretary for Gospel Films for 23 years. She and Joe were members of Church of the Open Door. In 1984 they moved to Sevierville, TN, where they enjoyed many visits from their friends and family in Muskegon. Bernice and Joe moved to Laguna Hills, CA to be near their son, Buzz, in 2002. Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe; their son Buzz and daughter-in-law Mary Weatherly, of Escondido, CA; granddaughter, Storme Weatherly Dunn (Edward) of St. Paul, MN; granddaughter, Jocee Weatherly (fiance Dave Barker) of Ann Arbor, MI; three great granddaughters, Moire, Emma and Audra Dunn, of St. Paul, MN.
