Bernice Travis Robinson

Mrs. Bernice Travis Robinson, age 85, passed away Saturday at Seminole Shores Living Center. She was retired from the State of Michigan as a social worker. She is survived by her husband Andrew Robinson, of Muskegon Heights, Michigan; four children: Milton Travis Jr. (Shirley) of Chicago, Illinois; Bonnie Terrentine (Robert) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Melita Travis Johnson (Ernest), and Michael Travis (Jennifer) of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She also leaves to cherish her memory a special daughter-in-spirit, Lorraine Hunter of Battle Creek, Michigan; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers in Christ. Service will be conducted Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Westside Grace Church, 12:00 noon with an 11:00 a.m. Family Hour. Pastors Russell Shepherd and John Shyne Jr. are officiating. Visitation begins Wednesday at Toombs Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment at Mona View Cemetary.
