Bernice Reed

Mrs. Bernice I. Reed, age 93, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born March 22, 1914 in Providence, RI, to Albert and Sarah (Tucker) Ludlam and lived in the Muskegon area since the age of 5. On September 1, 1934, she married Marvin E. Reed in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on June 12, 1994. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Jeanne Anne Funnell of Muskegon; 1 son-in-law, Ronald Posthumus of Fruitport; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Janette Kay Posthumus; 1 grandchild; 4 brothers, Fredrick, Arhtur, Victor and Rudolph Ludlam; and 2 sisters, Ruth and Grace. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard A. Morrison officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Norton Cemetery.
