Bernard Craigie

Mr. Bernard J. Craigie, age 84, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was born in Detroit, MI on January 27, 1929 to Thomas & Lenore (Lindeman) Craigie and married the former Ann Dean on October 4, 1952. Mr. Craigie had been employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Teledyne Continental Motors until retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church and active in the choir and vestry. He was a member of the Muskegon Chapter of the American Institute of Plant Engineers. Bernard enjoyed golfing, sailing, traveling, MSU Basketball and Football and music. SURVIVORS Wife of 60 years, Ann; sons, Kenneth (Jill) Craigie, Bruce (Barbara) Craigie; daughter, Lenore Kuipers; grandchildren, Andrew Crosby, Brandon (Andrea) Crosby, Heather Craigie, Geoffrey Craigie, Sebastian Craigie, Grant Craigie, Ian Craigie; brother, Thomas (Jane) Craigie II; sister, Janet Hill; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlotte. SERVICE Friday, April 12, 2013, 11:00 AM at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church with Mother Rachel Evans officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice or St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
