Bernadine B. Olson

OLSON, MRS. BERNADINE, B. Bernadine B.Olson, 79, of Grand Haven, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 at Shore Haven Living Center. She was born Feb. 21, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN. Mrs. Olson was the daughter of Clarence and Rose Sanford Anderson and married Robert W. Olson on Oct. 29, 1944 in South Bend, IN. He preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Olson had worked as an admitting and file clerk at Pawating Hospital in Niles, MI for 30 years, until retiring in 1990. She was a member of Edgewood Lutheran Church in Fruitport and an artist that enjoyed stamping, painting, drawing, and crafts. SURVIVORS Two sisters, Bette Jordan of Grand Haven, MI and Josephine Meek of Buchanan, MI; four nieces, Jackie Lee Frye of Grand Haven, MI, Beth Meek of Spring Lake, MI, Susie Green of South Bend, IN and Linda Michael Manica of Rockford, MI; one nephew, John Debbie Meek of South Bend, IN; numerous great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Olson was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sanford Anderson. SERVICES 1pm, Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven. Interment at Robinson Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Memorial : American Heart Association.
