Berdena Grace Witt Schaub, age 104, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 27, 1919 in her family home to Peter & Hilda (Peterman) Witt and married Arden Schaub on October 31, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1969. In her younger days she worked at Groosman's Department store and also volunteered at Mercy Hospital during WWII rocking babies in the maternity ward. "Aunt Bernie" was a long time member at McGraft Congregational Church and active in the Women's Guild for many years. She was a member of the Grand Haven Eagles and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and grand fur babies. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Daughter Naomi (Pete) Smith of Arizona; Grandchildren, Dawn (Donna Moreland) Rymal, Gary (Daianna) Hamilton, Tony (Stephanie) Smith, Sam Smith; Great-grandchildren, Connor (Bailey) Hamilton, Seth Hamilton, Sawyer (Kaitlyn) Smith, Trebor (Micaela Rice) Rymal, Kileah (Garrett Feetham) Rymal, Ryan (Johanna Weigle) Rymal, Andrew and Nicholas Smith ; Great-great-grandchildren, Barrett, Sofia, Emmerson, Evelynn and all of her Grand Fur Babies. She also had many special nieces and nephews to her. She was preceded in death by her husband Arden, a brother John C. Witt and her sister Genevieve (Jack) Olsen.

Thursday, August 22, 2024, 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Zabrocki officiating. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
