Beatrice Johnson

Mrs. Beatrice M. Johnson, age 83, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 after a very long struggle with Parkinson's. She was born in Muskegon, MI, on September 24, 1927 to Steve & Viola (Rose) Bird and married Robert M. Rettinhouse. After Roberts passing, she met and married Caryl G. Johnson. She was a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ. SURVIVORS Daughters, Sherry Rettinhouse Yonkers, Pamela (Mike) Rettinhouse Williams, Robin Rettinhouse Johnson; son, Larry Johnson; grandchildren, Tamara Yonkers, Lisa (Jack) Woodruff, Amber (Tom) DeLong, Gregory Weaver, Ryan Johnson, Stormy Johnson, Robert Rettinhouse; daughter-in-law, Christi Rettinhouse. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Robert and their son, Samuel; 2nd husband Caryl and their son, Scott. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 2:00 PM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Don Wood officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Fruitport Congregational UCC or Harbor Hospice.
